Plot
Shula comes across her uncle’s body on a deserted road in the middle of the night. As the funeral procession begins around them, she and her cousins uncover the buried secrets of their middle-class Zambian family in director Rungano Nyoni’s hauntingly realistic and vivid portrayal of “The Lies We Tell Ourselves.”
